Believe the Hype?!

Judging from one of my recent entries, it would seem that I'm consumed with food... but is that really such a bad thing, LOL?!

Anyhoo, today I tried out a new Mexican restaurant at the suggestion of a friend.  I'm usually pretty traditional when it comes to my Sunday brunches. Eggs, sausage, and pancakes... are the items of choice.

Although, I love Mexican food, I was a little hesitant about having it for brunch. Besides, I was already craving pancakes... I didn't see this going well.

But my friend promised if I liked Mexican food, I would absolutely LOVE this place. Don't you hate when a person builds up something so much that it's highly doubtful it will live up to the expectation?  I thought, would it really be that good?

So, I hesitantly, delved into my order of chicken enchiladas, preparing for a possible letdown.  The verdict... MUCHO GUSTO!! AKA, very good!

Huge portions, great service and amazing food.  I left stuffed and happy!  

A good meal always brings me lasting moments of joy...  and today was no exception. :-)
