SALT... and not the kind for seasoning!

Today I saw the movie, "Salt" with Angelina Jolie. I love watching an action movie with a tough, driven, butt-kicking female lead. Jolie plays all that and more as CIA agent, Evelyn Salt. Don't worry, no spoilers here! I'll let you see it for yourself, if you're interested.  

All I will say is, Jolie's character, Salt, is like Tom Cruise in "Mission Impossible" or Jason Bourne in "Bourne Identity". Her amazing, unbelievable, eye-popping stunts will keep you glued and guessing what she'll do next. Most of it is wild, to say the least. FYI... the movie has some violent scenes, so be warned, if you dare.

But if you're up for a fast-paced action movie with a cool female lead, kicking major tushy, then check out, "Salt".

I know one thing, the ladies loved it! LOL. As I confirmed, chatting with several strangers in the powder room who'd also just viewed the movie. They (we) were all hyped-up and excited, recanting some of Jolie's wild scenes and stunts. You see guys... us ladies do enjoy more than just chick flicks! LOL. Sometimes :-)

My joy moment today was enjoying a good movie, starring one bad mamasita!

Go, Girl Power!  LOL.

Hey Leo!

Leo and I were together again... in my mind.

Went to see the movie, "Inception" starring my husband-to-be (again, in my mind), Leonardo DiCaprio. He's wonderful as usual and gets better looking with age.

Good movie... very original and an extremely creative plot. It involves so many unique details, you definitely have to pay attention. So, don't go wandering off for a popcorn refill because you may get lost. LOL.

Plus, you'll miss the fabulous acting and great wardrobe changes of the debonaire DiCaprio. Yes, I have a small crush, but I promise I'm not a stalker, just his unofficial (and unpaid) P.R. person. :-)

But seriously speaking, the movie has a great supporting cast, amazing effects and will have you discussing the unusual plot afterwards.

Glad I finally had a chance to see it... and reunite with my Leo. :-)

It was my little joy moment for today.

Oh, The Possibilities!

Today a friend of mine called and said he would give my book synopsis to an industry friend of his, that deals with films. I was elated. In Hollywood, many times it's about who you know.

Although, it's not a guarantee that my friend's contact will even read it or that anything will happen at all, there's still a possibility.

It's possible the manager could read it and love it and become insanely driven to turn it into a movie.  It's possible he could give it to a famous director, actor or screenwriter who becomes enamored with my story and characters and demands they're part of the project.

It's also possible he could say, "thanks but no thanks" or "get this crap off my desk"... but this girl dares to dream!  It was my joy moment for today.

Oh, the possibilities!   I'll keep you posted.
